Prenatal Care

My goal is to provide private, individualized prenatal and delivery care for my patients. When you schedule your apppointment- you know that you will be seeing me. We have a chance to get to know each other well before it’s time for the big day.

I trained in a program that specialized in high-risk pregnancies, therefore, I feel comfortable managing all pregnancies in close coordination with local maternal fetal medicine specialists when needed.

I believe in a patient-directed approach to labor and delivery. That means that if you are interested in a natural, hands-off approach to pregnancy and delivery- I will be your strongest advocate to get to you the experience you desire. If you want a scheduled induction with an epidural at 3cm, we can do that too! The experience is all about you and your family- I will be there to support, encourage, educate, and make sure everyone stays safe and healthy.

I support women who wish to attempt vaginal delivery after cesarean section (VBAC).

Fertility

We offer preconception counseling, infertility evaluation, ovulation induction, intrauterine insemination (IUI), and surgical reversal of tubal ligation.

Pelvic Surgery

I am a huge advocate of minimally invasive pelvic surgery. In my opinion, there are very few instances in which a woman should require a large abdominal incision for pelvic surgery.

I was fortunate to have the opportunity to train with some of the best laparoscopic and robotic surgeons in our field during my training at University of Louisville.

Whether you are struggling with chronic pelvic pain, heavy or irregular bleeding, loss of pelvic support (prolapse), or loss of control over your bladder (urinary incontinence)— I am confident we can come up with a plan for minimally invasive procedures that will have you back to normal activity in no time- often without spending a single night in the hospital.

Below is a list of some of the procedures I perform:

  • Hysterectomy

  • Removal of ovarian cysts or masses

  • Surgical excision of endometriosis

  • Tubal ligation (sterilization procedure)

  • Reversal of tubal ligation

  • Myomectomy (removal of fibroids while preserving the uterus for future fertility).

  • Endometrial ablation (burning the inner lining of the uterus to prevent bleeding)

  • Ovarian drilling (treatment for women with PCOS to improve fertility)

  • Repair of uterine, bladder, or vaginal prolapse

  • Labiaplasty (reduction of labial size for cosmetic or functional purposes)

  • Mid-urethral sling (treatment for leakage of urine with laugh, cough, or sneeze)

  • Hysteroscopy with removal of polyps, fibroids, or uterine septum

I also provide preventative screening services including contraception, pap smears, clinical breast exams, and screening for sexually transmitted diseases.

I can help with management of the following conditions:
